Disney+ and Hulu have announced that they will raise their prices for subscription soon. Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, has stated that Disney+ would have their price raised for their premium ad-free service. Disney has also released a Duo premium subscription that will include an both Disney+ and Hulu. Viewing Disney+ with ads will arrive in Europe and Canada soon according to Iger. Disney has launched its ad-supported version of Disney+ in the US, offering a "Basic" plan with ads that will cost $7.99 per month. Aside from now including ads, the Disney+ Basic Plan does not allow users to download content or stream offline. Disney's rollout of an ad-supported tier for Disney+ comes on the heels of fellow streaming service Netflix also releasing an ad-supported version earlier this year. Adsense for Domains has now been finally opened to international publishers, including the Philippines.
