Disney's subscription service, DisneyLife, is set to shut down its services in the Philippines. In an email sent to subscribers, DisneyLife noted that the service will no longer be available in the Philippines and that user accounts will automatically close and will no longer be billed effective April 1, 2020. DisneyLife's catalog included Disney movies, shows from Disney Channel, XD, and Junior, sing-alongs, and more. With DisneyLife closing down in the Philippines, there is a possibility that Disney's streaming service, Disney+, will be making its way to our shores. Globe has just announced that Globe At Home prepaid and postpaid subscribers will be receiving 3 months of free access to DisneyLife. As for Globe At Home prepaid subscribers, they may acquire the free 3 months of DisneyLife by loading up their Home Prepaid WiFi with HomeSURF199 through the Globe At Home app. Prepaid users may load up beginning December 1, and activate the free DisneyLife subscription through the Globe At Home app. The rollout starts today in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and South Africa, with more regions to follow in the coming months.
