Following the debut of the COMET (City Optimized Managed Electric Transport) e-jeepney in Quezon City, the e-tricycles, also known as the E-Trikebayan, are now plying the streets of Mandaluyong City. The E-Trikebayan was developed by EV Wealth, a subsidiary of Guevent Investments and Development Corporation (GIDC). Unlike the COMET e-jeepney that charges via a 220-voltage power outlet, the E-Trikebayan uses a battery charging/swapping model for safe and fast charging.
