Xiaomi today pulled back the curtain on its PU7 electric SUV in China, marking a bold step to challenge Tesla’s Model Y in the world’s largest EV market. If the PU7 lives up to its promise—combining class-leading range, rapid charging, and cutting-edge tech in a stylish package—it could reshape expectations for electric SUVs in China and beyond. Google has already partnered with Renault, which plans to use the platform in its upcoming Trafic e-Tech electric vehicle, set for production in late 2026. Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Series in the Philippines. The lineup includes the Electric Scooter 6 Ultra GL, 6 Max GL, 6 Pro GL, 6 GL and 6 Lite GL. The standard Electric Scooter 6 features a dual shock-absorption system with front dual-spring and rear single-spring suspension designed to improve comfort on uneven roads. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Pro GL is priced at PHP 32,999 while the Electric Scooter 6 Max GL is available for PHP 37,999.
