Epson Philippines recently held the 16th edition of Fusion, its annual media thanksgiving event, from May 28 to 30 at Misibis Bay Resort, Albay. This year’s theme, EcoSynergy, focused on aligning innovation with sustainability and meaningful partnerships. The brand's dedication to "Engineered for Good," with a focus on environmentally conscious product design and practices, was underscored by Epson President Masako Kusama. Noelle Gonzalez, the head of marketing, discussed Epson's ongoing market leadership and double-digit growth in eight product categories, as well as efforts to address counterfeit inks and enhance customer service. EJ Sulit showcased Epson’s strategy for achieving carbon-negative operations by 2050 and highlighted the ICLEAN Project in Monreal, which converts ocean-bound plastics into eco-bricks. The conclusion of Fusion 16 involved team challenges and bonding activities, underscoring Epson's commitment to collaboration, innovation, and community impact. Epson is also going where the netbook crowd is with their newly released Epson Endeavor netbook, now selling in Japan for an equivalent of Php23,500. Nothing impressive or groundbreaking but I wish Epson would have made some extra effort not to make their netbook look cheap or ugly (via Akihabara News).
