Facebook has just announced that it is no longer allowing Huawei to pre-install its apps on Huawei devices. According to a report by Reuters, customers who currently own Huawei devices will still be able to use Facebook apps and receive updates. Future Huawei smartphones that have not yet left the factory, however, will no longer have Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram pre-installed. Facebook did note that consumers who buy current Huawei phone models without Facebook pre-installed can still download the app through the Google Playstore. Huawei has declined to comment on the Facebook suspension.
