Facebook is launching a new game, Your Profile, Your Home where users can build their own virtual home on Facebook and learn how to personalize their account based on their preferences. Through the game users can learn more about the settings of Facebook such as Privacy settings, Advertiser preferences, and security settings. Through Your Profile, Your Home, Facebook hopes that users will have an easy way to find out just how safe and secure their profiles are. Ternus, currently Apple’s head of hardware engineering, will officially take over as CEO on September 1, while Cook transitions to the role of executive chairman. He will remain CEO through the summer to oversee the leadership transition and will continue supporting the company in a strategic role, including engagement with global policymakers. The appointment of a hardware-focused CEO could signal a renewed emphasis on innovation, particularly in emerging categories such as wearables, foldable devices, and AI-integrated products. Facebook Marketplace is introducing new AI features to simplify how people buy and sell items. Meta has started rolling out new AI-powered features on Facebook that let users add more personality to their profiles, posts, and Stories.
