Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) is presenting a new optical architecture for VR, which offers improved form factor, comfort, and optical performance. Facebook is launching a new game, Your Profile, Your Home where users can build their own virtual home on Facebook and learn how to personalize their account based on their preferences. Through the game users can learn more about the settings of Facebook such as Privacy settings, Advertiser preferences, and security settings. Through Your Profile, Your Home, Facebook hopes that users will have an easy way to find out just how safe and secure their profiles are. It uses dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors and can record 8K 360-degree video as well as 120MP 360 photos, which gives creators plenty of resolution for reframing content across YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
