Facebook has announced the availability of the Messenger translations in Filipino, powered byFacebook's AI assistant, M. Facebook has added the Filipino language in the five languages that can be translated on Messenger. Facebook’s AI assistant, M, now translates Messenger conversations from English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese to Filipino and vice versa. When you receive a message in a language that is different from your default language in Messenger, Facebook's AI Assistant M, will ask if you would like to translate the message in your preferred supported language. In a short post on his Facebook page, David Marcus formally announced M, the social networking site’s personal assistant that is integrated in to the Facebook Messenger app. Called M Trainers, these people supplements what Facebook M could do and provide solutions to queries that are beyond the virtual assistant’s limitations. Facebook M is currently on beta stage and is currently being tested by hundreds of users in San Francisco. The official date of when it will be rolled out to all Facebook users was not mentioned during the announcement, but once it becomes available, it will be free to use.
