Facebook has begun to roll out shortcut bar settings to users of its mobile app. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has launched the PANaHON mobile app, a smartphone-friendly platform designed to provide real-time weather information and improve public preparedness for weather-related hazards. Introduced in the middle of Typhoon and Flood Awareness Week 2026, this app was, like pretty much, fully developed by PAGASA and it works as the mobile counterpart of its PANaHON web platform that was launched last year. Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is set to introduce international money transfers through its mobile banking app, following a partnership with Visa aimed at making cross-border transactions faster and more affordable for Filipinos. The service is expected to become available to more than four million active BPI mobile app users.
