WhatsApp is introducing a new privacy feature called Strict Account Settings, which is designed for users who face a higher risk of targeted cyberattacks. The Strict Account Settings function operates as a lockdown mode. The system establishes maximum security and privacy controls which users cannot modify after they activate the function. Users can access Strict Account Settings through Settings > Privacy > Advanced > Strict Account Settings as the feature becomes available. The following settings are applicable to Smart, Globe and Sun Cellular for their APN settings (Access Point Name). The settings should work with majority of smartphones in the market.
