Square Enix has announced the launch date of the remastered version of one of the most iconic Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy 8, following the reveal of the game's newest trailer. https://www.facebook.com/FinalFantasy/videos/2438610313037777/ Square Enix has announced that the latest installment of the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy XV, is set to arrive on September 30, 2016. Final Fantasy XV will bring a new story line as well as introduce new characters including Noctis Lucis Caelum, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lucis and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. Final Fantasy XV will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One. We were recently playing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and noticed that there were a lot of similarities between this game and the 1999 franchise Final Fantasy 8. Final Fantasy Type-0 was initially released for PlayStation Portable back in 2011 and was only exclusive to Japan. A few years later and after a number of franchise under the Final Fantasy series have come out, they launched the HD version last March 2015.
