Here's our initial impression of the Flare S5 Power. The Flare S5 Power shares the common trait of the rest of the series with its 5.5-inch display but with an LTPS panel. The frame of the handset is made out of aluminum and its cold feel on the hands gives the Flare S5 Power a premium touch. The volume rocker and power/lock button are on the right side with an additional shortcut button for the camera. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6753 octa-core processor with a Mali-T720 GPU. Globe Telecom is now offering volume-based mobile internet surfing plans with their Globe PowerSurf promo -- starting with 50MB for Php99, valid for 30 days. The service auto-renews after the expiration date so you need to text PowerSurf Off to 8888 if you want to un-subscribe. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity.
