Lenovo has announced a new Chromebook for the international market and just like some of its notebooks, it also features a 360-degree hinge. The Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook has an 11.6-inch IPS touch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Lenovo claims the Flex 11 has a 10-hour battery life and can withstand drops up to 75cm. The Chromebook will have future access to Google Play Store as well. The 11-inch Chromebook will become available in the US this month for USD279 or roughly Php14k before taxes. Aside from the IdeaPad Pro and Slim lineup of Windows laptops, Lenovo also announced a new Chromebook, namely the IdeaPad Flex 3i. Google's ChromeOS Flex — a lightweight, cloud-based operating system designed to run on old Macs and PC Windows systems — just went mainstream today, and it primarily caters education and enterprise customers. From their early access in February to now, Google have certified over 400 devices from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG, Toshiba, and other OEMs to be compatible with Flex, even some 10-year old MacBooks are included in the list.
