The saga continues, it seems fuel prices may go up again in the coming week. According to a post by Unioil Philippines, sometime between March 1-7, the following fuel price increases are set to take place. Diesel: PHP 0.80 to 0.90 Gasoline: PHP 0.90 to 1.00 So far Unioil is the only fuel company to post about an impending increase. However, referring to their post, the specific date of the increase is yet to be determined as well as the increased prices. If you're one of them it's best to fill up now with the current fuel prices. Petroleum companies such as Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, and Petrogazz have announced they'll be hiking up fuel prices again tomorrow (February 22, 2022). Most companies are set to implement the price hike by 6:01am, while Cleanfuel has opted instead to do theirs by 4:01pm tomorrow afternoon. The only silver lining to this latest increase is that it wasn't as big as last weeks, however the Department of Energy's (DOE) year-to-date (YTD) price adjustment tells a grim tale.
