Fuel prices expected to go up again between March 1-7

The saga continues, it seems fuel prices may go up again in the coming week.

According to a post by Unioil Philippines, sometime between March 1-7, the following fuel price increases are set to take place.

Diesel: PHP 0.80 to 0.90
Gasoline: PHP 0.90 to 1.00

So far Unioil is the only fuel company to post about an impending increase. However, referring to their post, the specific date of the increase is yet to be determined as well as the increased prices.

Given that NCR has also switched to an alert level 1 classification, more vehicles are expected to ply our roads. If you’re one of them it’s best to fill up now with the current fuel prices.
