Just a week after Samsung introduced the Samsung Hennessy flip phone, the company has announced a new Android smartphone that sports the same clamshell design, the Galaxy Golden. The Golden supports LTE connectivity and has a price tag of 799,700 South Korean Won or around Php31,000, which kinda makes you wonder if this is literally golden. It's already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in the Philippines before end of October (that's next week!) and we finally got the retail price down to the dot -- Php34,990 (thanks to our source). The price isn't surprising (though I thought it would be a bit higher by a couple grand) considering its baby brother, the Galaxy S, sells for Php32,000.
