Widget City, a local online retailer, has recently posted on their official Facebook page that they now have stocks of the Google Play Edition of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, as well as two other GPe devices namely the LG G Pad 8.3 and Samsung Galaxy S4. The Android devices listed above actually don’t differ much from its non-GPe counterparts in terms of specs. Of the three devices though, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra GPe gives the most bang for the buck because it’s two grand cheaper than the SGS4 GPe yet it sports a slightly better feature set than Sammy's ex-flagship smartphone. It's already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in the Philippines before end of October (that's next week!) and we finally got the retail price down to the dot -- Php34,990 (thanks to our source). The price isn't surprising (though I thought it would be a bit higher by a couple grand) considering its baby brother, the Galaxy S, sells for Php32,000. More "in the flesh" photos and first impressions of the Galaxy Tab here. So, anybody got spare change for a Galaxy Tab? See which Samsung Galaxy devices will soon be able to support Android 13. Read more in our articles including "Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition now available in PH" and "Samsung Galaxy Tab Price: Php34,990".
