UPDATE (July 8, 2020): On July 6, 2020, GCash has suspended its Cash via Bank Card service until further notice. Users may still Cash In for free via BPI and UnionBank in the GCash App, or via BDO, Metrobank, etc. GCash has announced that they will be charging for their Cash In service via MasterCard and Visa. Commuters can now access the 50% fare discount on MRT-3 using GCash, as part of the government’s push to ease transportation costs amid rising prices. The integration builds on GCash’s existing rollout in MRT-3, where cashless payment options have been available since July last year. This is not an unusual case -- you send funds to a GCash number and after clicking the "Send" button, you realize it's the wrong number.
