Globe has announced that it has signed up its first 1Gbps broadband plan customer. The Estrada family from Acropolis, Quezon City, one of the first sites included in Globe's initial roll-out for its new Platinum Broadband Plans, is the first customer to subscribe to the 1Gbps plan. Globe's other Platinum Broadband Plans include - 50Mbps at Plan 2499, 100Mbps at Plan 3499, 200Mbps at Plan 4499, and 500Mbps at Plan 7499. Globe launches Globe Starlink 99 and 299 plans, now available through the GlobeOne app. Users can access and purchase the plans directly inside the GlobeOne app. Globe AT HOME is giving eligible customers free internet speed boosts of up to 1Gbps along with free WiFi 6 modem upgrades to help improve home connectivity for work, school, and entertainment. Globe has not yet shared how long the promo will run or which plans are eligible for the free upgrade. The ultra-durable smartphone is now available in participating Globe stores through Globe Postpaid Plans starting at GPlan Plus 999.
