Globe calls on its customers to report suspicious activities surrounding Globe At Home's modems and escalate these accordingly to the appropriate authorities such as the Department of Trade and Industry—Consumer Protection Group with the email address [email protected] or no. Globe warns the public of a modus where Globe at Home modems are illegally sold as DITO modems by certain individuals and online stores. According to Globe, certain individuals and retail establishments are illegally reselling and passing off their Globe At Home WiFi modems as DITO Telecommunity modems. This is done through the unauthorized unlocking of the Globe device, substituting the Globe SIM with a DITO Telecommunity SIM, and concealing the Globe At Home trademark with a DITO sticker.
