Globe Telecom sent us an official statement regarding actions taken against offending ads inside the GlobeOne app. Globe has taken immediate action to address concerns raised about third-party advertisements in the GlobeOne app, particularly those related to betting games, online gaming, and similar categories. Globe has taken down these ads and blocked their sources. It is working closely with its advertising vendor to ensure that all advertisements inside the Globe One app are safe and will cause no harm to its customers. This is a common challenge in the digital advertising industry which is why Globe is working closely with its ad partners to ensure its ad standards for safety and appropriateness are met. Globe strongly advises its users to exercise caution when interacting with third-party ads on the GlobeOne app or any other platform. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here.
