Just got an SMS advisory from Globe yesterday informing me that their Globe Tattoo unlimited 3G internet is now at Php1,200 per month. “These permits complement our aggressive builds and roll-outs as we not only increase our capacity and capability but more importantly, we make connectivity possible and accessible in areas that don't have any access to the internet before,” stated by Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery under Network Technical Group Joel Agustin. With these established cell sites taking advantage of high frequencies, Globe is looking forward to giving faster Internet access to its subscribers whether they're in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao. One curious question here though is why is Globe abandoning the eat-all-you can model for mobile 3G internet? When the guys from Globe Innove gave me a free WiZ (Wireless Internet Zone) account, I retorted that they didn't have any list of hotspots posted on their website (not even on that login page you see when you're hooked up with one of them wifi access points).
