Globe Telecom has been teasing its subscribers since this morning with a mysterious SMS alert that says a new smartphone is coming. It then uses the "iP5" keyword for soliciting email addresses. Globe has been very careful not to mention the upcoming iPhone although they used iP5, we're not still sure if Apple is really going to call it the iPhone 5. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here. Disclosure: Both Globe Visibility and SmartBro 3G is an advertiser on this blog. People have been asking that since Globe Visibility has obviously moved into the flat prepaid and tiered postpaid models, what will happen to subscribers who are on the GV Unlimited plans? After which, Globe will be offering them a new post-paid plan on top of the existing one.
