Globe is urging its mobile customers with old and obsolete SIMs to have it replaced with new LTE SIMs free of charge. Since December 18, 2019, Globe has been sending text messages to customers who continue to use their old and obsolete SIMs that don't support LTE connectivity. Those who have received the text message can go to their nearest Globe Store to get a SIM replacement. Among major telcos, Dito Telecommunity posted the highest VoLTE penetration at 41.9%, followed by Smart Communications at 31.7% and Globe Telecom at 27.4%.
