Through the Globe Prepaid Traveler eSIM, international tourists coming to the Philippines now have a more seamless and convenient way to connect with Globe’s mobile network. According to Globe, the Traveler eSIM will be conveniently available via its GlobeOne app. At this time, the Traveler eSIM is initially available on iOS and will soon expand to Android devices. "With the Traveler eSIM, Globe is once again at the forefront of telco innovation. “We want to ensure that every international visitor enjoys a seamless and enriched connectivity experience from the outset." In accordance with the Philippine SIM Registration Act, all Traveler eSIMs are subject for registration and that it will be valid for 30 days. Should the tourist stay beyond a month, they can easily repurchase another traveler eSIM via the GlobeOne app. Globe says reloading are also done within the app, but assuming this acts like a local, physical SIM, other loading stations or places should be able top-up one’s Traveler eSIM as well.
