Globe recently announced that they have expanded their LTE coverage in Q1 2018 with 934 new sites nationwide. According to Globe, they have put up additional 934 LTE sites using the 700MHz, 2600 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies in the first quarter of the year including Jolo, Tawi-Tawi, and Batanes. In addition, Globe has also deployed 200 Massive MIMO sites using the 2600MHz band. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here. People have been asking that since Globe Visibility has obviously moved into the flat prepaid and tiered postpaid models, what will happen to subscribers who are on the GV Unlimited plans? After which, Globe will be offering them a new post-paid plan on top of the existing one.
