Globe customers can now register their SIMs through the GlobeOne app, a convenient and accessible option to comply with the SIM Registration Act. By making SIM registration available on the app, Globe hopes to expand reach to its subscribers and finish registration of roughly 86.7 million SIM users under their network by the April 26, 2023 deadline. “We have made the GlobeOne app available for SIM registration to provide an easy and convenient platform for our customers to register. We encourage our customers to plan and schedule their SIM registration as early as they can,” said Darius Delgado, Globe Consumer Mobile Business Head. Globe also reiterated its warning against dealing with individuals or parties offering their services to help with SIM registration as this may lead to fraud and identity theft. The GlobeOne app and our company's SIM registration website, https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg, are the only official channels where our customers should register,” said Delgado. Globe has also started rolling out assisted registration sites for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, users of basic or feature phones and anyone in need of help to get their SIMs registered. Globe encourages all customers to register their SIMs before the deadline of April 26, 2023 to avoid the risk of SIM deactivation.
