#globe smart service interruptions

Globe Service Advisory: June 10, 2015 We wish to advise our Globe customers that there is an ongoing service interruption between Globe and Smart networks today, June 10, 2015. As early as 2am, Globe customers may experience difficulty in calling, sending and receiving messages to any Smart number nationwide due to an interconnection issue emanating from the Smart network. The Globe network team is working closely with their counterparts to immediately resolve the service disruption. Disclosure: Both Globe Visibility and SmartBro 3G is an advertiser on this blog. The Philippines ' major Mobile Network Operators (MNO), namely, DITO, Globe, and Smart Communications have successfully concluded the initial tests of their technical capabilities and interoperability last July 14, 2021, in line with the government's implementation of the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Act. By conducting a successful actual porting test, DITO, Globe, and Smart secured initial insights and details on how to address remaining concerns and possible challenges before making the service available to all customers. Surprisingly, very few people are using PLDT WeRoam -- a service which has practically been supplanted by SmartBro Mobile 3G. 3G usage is split between Smart/PLDT and Globe Telecom two-to-one as shown in the table below.
