The data helped Globe find areas with poor coverage, including busy roads and places that were not tested before. Microsoft has quietly introduced a new internet speed test feature in Windows 11, giving users a quicker way to check their connection directly from the taskbar. The feature, which began appearing in recent updates for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 25H2, adds a “Perform speed test” option in the network menu.
