Google just recently had its Pixel event where it officially announced its newest Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. The Google Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch Actua display that gives up to 2000 nits peak brightness and has an adaptive refresh rate of 60-120Hz. The Google Pixel 8 Pro on the other hand sees a 6.7-inch Super Actua display that can max out at 2400 nits of peak brightness and can adjust its refresh rate all the way up to 120Hz and all the way down to 1Hz. The Google Pixel 8 Pro also sees a new temperature sensor to scan objects and get its temperature reading. The Google Pixel 8 Pro now features a bigger ultrawide lens to deliver better Macro Focus and a telephoto lens that can take 10x photos at optical quality. The main headlining software feature was what Google calls "Best Take" where it's mainly used in group photos where it will take a series of photos to get everyone's best look and merge the best looks of each person.
