#Google Wallet as Package tracking

Google is testing a new Google Wallet feature that automatically tracks delivery packages using Gmail receipts in the United States. When you tap on a package, you get more detailed tracking data, and once something is delivered, it can be dismissed manually or cleaned up on its own after some time. The update basically broadens Google Wallet past just payments by including built in parcel tracking. With this feature, it brings support for more types of personal information and deeper integration with Google Wallet on Android and iOS devices. Google is also extending Chrome's integration with Google Wallet. If the information is not already saved in Google Wallet, Chrome can offer to store it when entered for the first time. Google has started rolling out a redesigned Google Wallet app for Android alongside new Google Pay verification features announced during Google I/O 2026. The updated Google Wallet interface introduces a redesigned homepage with quicker access to passes, boarding tickets, and payment cards.
