Grab announced a new service under its platform, GrabExpress Pabili, to help Filipinos in buying their household essentials amid the enhanced community quarantine. Previously known as GrabAssistant, the on-demand service allows users to ask GrabRiders to buy groceries, medicines, and other items from nearby establishments. The maximum price that GrabRiders could buy is up to PHP 2,000 only. Items to be purchased should not exceed the 25 cm x 32 cm x 12 cm standard dimensions prescribed by GrabExpress. To change orders in case some items are unavailable in the pickup point, customers may directly contact the riders through SMS, call, or GrabChat. Unlike any other services, the GrabExpress Pabili does not accept scheduled bookings. The GrabExpress Pabili is now available in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Pampanga, Bacolod, and Iloilo.
