Grab introduces GrabCar 6-seater and offers EDSA ride w/ GrabJeep

Grab, formerly known as GrabTaxi, is offering a new type of vehicular service you can book through their app and it’s “bigger than GrabCar” yet “more affordable than GrabCar+.”

With the GrabCar 6-seater, you can now book a larger vehicle for your group since GrabCars are starting to become smaller with Mirages and Wigos, but without spending as much as a GrabCar+ vehicle. Grab posted the announcement through Facebook and if you’ll check their app, you can see the GrabCar 6-seater option just between GrabCar and GrabCar+.

As of now, Grab didn’t disclose further info about pricing and it’s not even detailed on the app. What we just know is that it should offer a larger vehicle with costing a premium.

Also, Grab is offering GrabJeep. And from what it looks like, it’s not a service you can book. It’s more of a fixed-route vehicle, like a regular jeepney, but air-conditioned and have designated stops which are the following:

  • Magallanes
  • Ayala
  • Buendia
  • Guadalupe
  • Boni
  • Shaw
  • Megamall
  • Ortigas
  • Santolan
  • Araneta
  • SM North EDSA

The GrabJeep will start servicing its route today. We’ll give an update as soon as we get additional information.

This is more like a roving advertisement for the brand.
