Sony has offered an array of over-ear and on-ear headphones with their Sony MDRs’ headphone line-up. This time, the Sony MDR-100ABN h.ear on is one of the company’s latest noise-cancelling ‘premium Hi-res’ headphones which stands out because of its stylish design and exceptional sound. The headphones can also be folded to fit into a neat hard carry case that is perfect for travel. The 3.5mm input socket for wired connection, NFC for fast Bluetooth-paring and micro-USB port for charging the headphones can also be found on this side. Operating the headphones is as simple as pie, just long press to turn it on and you’ll hear a voice prompt saying ‘power on’ and the LED will start to blink in blue. We used a Sony Walkman with High-Resolution Audio which is a perfect match to our noise cancelling headphones. Charging time is extremely slow, it took us about four hours to fully charge the headphones using a a 2.1A wall power adapter. Conclusion The Sony MDR-100ABN will not only serve great as headphones for all your audio devices, but will also do the job as travel headphones.
