Recently, the consumer finance provider has been officially granted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) a certificate of authority to issue credit cards. The company touts to be the first non-bank financial institution to have a credit card certification by the BSP. Applying for the said credit card is similar to the application process of the company's consumer loans. The Home Credit credit card features a loyalty program that entitles the holder to earn cash back for transactions and get freebies and discounts from partner merchants. Home Credit has started rolling out their credit card to its customer base and is expected to have more clients this year. Home Credit Philippines has back-to-school promotions on laptops, smartphones and tablets. Home Credit says applications require only one valid ID.
