More than just a single-SIM version of the Desire 600, HTC has added a few other enhancements to the Desire 601 to give it a slight edge over the other mid-range handset in the market. On the software end, the Desire 601 runs on Android 4.2.2 and is also equipped with also equipped with some of the goodies of its high-end counterpart like HTC Zoe and Video Highlights which will make use of the handset’s 4.5-inch qHD display. The Desire 300, on the other hand, packs a slightly more modest configuration than the 601 which includes 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and a 1650mAh Li-Ion battery. Just like the 601, the Desire 300 also runs on Android Jelly bean with BlinkFeed preinstalled.
