We've got two similarly spec'ed smartphones with similar sizes and built but of different mobile OSes -- the HTC Desire HD and the HTC HD7. HTC Philippines officially puts the MSRP of the HTC Desire HD at Php35,000 and the HTC HD7 at Php36,900. HTC then allowed resellers and retailers to set their own final price. However, I've been checking the local stores and turns out the Desire HD is still at the Php34,990 level while the HTC HD7 already went down to Php29,990. I've been told only 50 units were delivered by HTC Philippines to resellers last December while the rest of the shipments will be coming in this January (another batch of 50 more). Once the new shipments come in, the price should go down a bit and level out at around 30+k while the HD7 will be pushed back a few thousand bucks more. The HD7 is HTC's top-of-the-line Windows Phone 7 smartphone. We've got a good 2 weeks to play with the handset so check our full review of the HTC HD7 after the jump.
