Of the 3 phones, the HTC Touch HD took center stage with probably the largest display we've seen on a touch screen phone so far. HTC made an update of one of its more popular GPS mobile devices back from 2 years ago -- the HTC Touch Cruise 09. Today, HTC announced the release of the HTC Touch Pro in the Philippines, a smartphone explicitly catering to business and power users. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the HTC Touch Pro supports quad-band GSM with HSDPA (up to 7.2Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g, a 2.8-inch touch screen display, full qwerty keyboard that slides out the back, a 3.2 MP camera (+ frontal facing VGA camera for 3G calls), FM radio and GPS. The HTC Touch Pro will be available in local stores by middle of September. Yesterday, HTC officially launched their newest line of smart phones named HTC Touch Diamond. Aside from the press release that HTC will be putting up and office in the country, the new HTC Touch Diamond is the Taiwanese company's attempt to crack into the iPhone market.
