Huawei introduces the beta version of the Petal Maps app for navigation. The Huawei Petal Maps (Beta Version) allows users to search for locations, businesses, and other points of interest directly from the app. It features air gestures that let users zoom in and out and switch between navigation view and map overview. Moreover, it allows users to explore the map in an interactive 3D view. Plus, users may also save places to the app that they can sync to the Cloud by logging in to the Huawei ID, which they can easily access on Huawei devices. According to Huawei, the app complies with local laws and regulations to protect user data and privacy. Petal Maps (Beta Version) is available on the Huawei AppGallery for Huawei smartphones. Huawei makes some of the most interesting little gadgets around and when I visited their booth at CommunicAsia yesterday, they've got a dozens of Pocket WiFi and USB sticks for all sorts of cellular network on display.
