While the Huawei P10 is already taking the spotlight, the former flagship of the Chinese tech giant will finally receive the awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update that was initially delayed. Huawei announced it would begin the global rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.0 to the P9 in Q1 2017 or sometime this month. Huawei P9 owners can expect the update in the coming week but, of course, the rollout will take some time to reach all devices. Some users already have the beta release of the software for months now but the full rollout will bring every P9 up to date with Google's latest Android version plus the customization done by Huawei. Huawei makes some of the most interesting little gadgets around and when I visited their booth at CommunicAsia yesterday, they've got a dozens of Pocket WiFi and USB sticks for all sorts of cellular network on display. The one above is the Huawei WiFi E589 which supports LTE, 3G and 2G connections with speeds up to 50Mbps. This one is the Huawei E398 which is an LTE USB dongle, similar to the one being used by Smart LTE Evolution. The Huawei E365 is an HSPA+ modem, perfect for use with Globe's HSPA+ network (Tonino Lamborgihini 10Mbps) and supports up to 21Mbps downlink speed.
