On the desktop side, Intel has refreshed almost all of its existing mainstream desktop processors which include the new 6th Generation Core I-series chips, as well as the new lower-tier Pentium processors. From the groundbreaking Intel Xeon mobile processors (E3-1535M v5 and E3-1505M v5), to the new lo-power Core M-series chips with 4.5W TDP, the chipmaker has all of its bases covered as far as giving consumers a wide array of selection between power efficiency and raw performance. These include support for USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 connections, RealSense technology, and Intel Software Guard Extension (Intel SGX) among many others. Users can expect to see computers running on one of the new Intel Skylake processors in the next coming months. GPD has updated its MicroPC 2 handheld computer with a newer Intel Core 3 N350 processor. The new chip replaces the Intel N250 found in earlier models. Although the newer Intel Core 3 N350 processor is not available just yet in the Philippines, there is an Intel N250 processor.
