Microsoft will no longer continue its support to Internet Explorer 11 by 2021. As shared by Microsoft, Internet Explorer 11 will not be able to access the web app for Teams, as well as Microsoft 365, on November 30, 2020, and August 17, 2021. To make online experiences better, Internet Explorer 11 users are highly encouraged to use Microsoft Edge when accessing Microsoft productivity tools. Although Internet Explorer 11 isn't going away, only websites and legacy apps that are built specifically for the said web browser will be accessible to users. This allows the DICT to set up high-speed internet access points anywhere in the field, enabling residents to interface directly with state digital platforms without needing to travel to municipal city centers. The implementing agency will be the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
