Buyers of the newly released iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have been reporting the phone's overheating issues ever since its launch. Users such as Redditor u/Leather_Cheerio_402 posted that his new iPhone 15 Pro now has a swollen battery that has caused the display to bulge out. Apple also emphasized in its chat with Forbes that the overheating isn't caused by the design of the iPhone 15 Pro nor is it the new Titanium structure as iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus users were also reporting some overheating. Such apps identified were Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt 9 which are said to cause the iPhone to get warm. However, if your charger is compliant with the USB-C PD standard, it is said to be safe to use as iPhones generally regulate their power draw automatically. Apple ended by saying that there is no risk to the safety or long-term performance of iPhones and iPads as both have built-in protections to prevent overheating.
