Cook’s cryptic post on X (formerly, Twitter) didn’t tell much, but recent reports point to an iPhone SE 4 unveiling. This is Apple’s first budget-friendly option in a while since the last iPhone SE model released back in 2022. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to mark a major shift in the SE line’s design and hardware. For starters, it will ditch the physical home button as it adopts the look of the iPhone 14. Rumors from last year hinted that Apple’s iPhone SE 4 would debut likely around March 2025. Now, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has dropped new details, revealing that the testing phase for both the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11 is now underway—running iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3. To recap the speculations, the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly feature a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display (460 ppi). Its design is also expected to draw inspiration from the iPhone 14.
