Riot Games is bringing in a new game mode in League of Legends called Teamfight Tactics that is very similar on how the DoTA custom map, Auto Chess, works. Teamfight Tactics is a round-based strategy mode that allows you to fight up to seven opponents in a free-for-all match. The only difference is that Teamfight Tactics requires you to spend RP (Riot Points) which comes from your own pockets. Riot stated that the company is trying different kinds of modes that have deep and unique additions to the League of Legends experience. League of Legends Teamfight Tactics will hit the PBE (Public Beta Environment) this month and it will come to the live servers in patch 9.13. Riot Games is reportedly working on a new game based on League of Legends, which may launch on both PC and mobile.
