Riot Games is reportedly working on a new game based on League of Legends, which may launch on both PC and mobile. Early reports say the project could be similar in style to Genshin Impact, with a focus on open-world gameplay.

The information comes from online posts and job listings tied to Riot’s Shanghai studio. The company is hiring for several roles, including combat design, animation, gameplay engineering, and art direction. These roles are listed under an unannounced research and development project.
Reports suggest that Riot may be shifting its plans. A previously rumored FPS game, known as “Project T,” may have been delayed, reworked, or set aside. This could be to give way to the new League of Legends-based project, although Riot has not confirmed this.
Riot is also working on other titles, including Valorant Mobile, which has yet to be released. Earlier reports also mentioned more FPS projects connected to the Valorant universe.
For now, details about the new League of Legends game remain limited. There is no official release date or full gameplay details. If the reports are true, the game could bring a different style of play to the League universe. More updates are expected as development continues.
