Leica has just unveiled its latest full-frame mirrorless camera, the Leica SL2. The SL2 also has a 5-axis system, continuous shooting speed of up to 20 fps, 4K video recording, cine mode, 225 autofocus metering fields, Leica Object Detection, 187MP multi-shot mode, a mechanical shutter of up to 1/8000s and an electric shutter of up to 1/4000s. Other features of the SL2 are a 1,860mAh rechargeable battery, USB-C port, 3.5mm combo jack, HDMI 2.0b output, two UHS-II SD card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and compatibility with the Leica FOTOS app. The Leica SL2 retails for USD 5,995 (body only) and will be available for purchase in the US beginning November 21.
