During the Canalys EMEA Forum 2023, Luca Rossi, Lenovo's Senior Vice President and President of its Intelligent Devices Group said that the company is committed to a net zero emission policy by 2050, according to The Register. The Lenovo executive emphasized that over 80% of their devices will be able to be repaired by the customer with parts such as batteries, SSDs, and more to be repaired simply by the customer and save waste. Lenovo has also had a solid track record when it comes to reliability and fixability, most especially with its Thinkpad series and its Legion gaming series also having some solid reputations. Lenovo is entering the “netbook†market with the IdeaPad S9 and S10. Weighing just above 09.kg, the one-inch thick Lenovo Ideapad will use the Intel Atom processor. Lenovo also boasts of its OneKey Recovery on Microsoft Windows-based netbooks which allows data recovery at the touch of a button in case of a system error or virus occur. The Lenovo Ideapad will be out this September for a suggested retail price of Php22,990 (with either Windows XP or Linux OS). Lenovo has officially launched its newest IdeaPad notebooks powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor— the IdeaPad Slim 3i and IdeaPad Slim 5i Pro.
