The previous owner just needs to fill out the owner change status card inserted in the Mazda Service Warranty Booklet so that the servicing dealer will be able to update their records. A 3-year warranty is also offered for new vehicles which can be in the form of New Vehicle Warranty or bumper-to-bumper coverage for three years or 100,000km, whichever comes first. With the Bumper-to-bumper coverage, authorized Mazda dealers will repair, replace, or adjust all parts on your vehicle that are defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship under normal use from the warranty start date (delivery date of the vehicle or the date it was first used).
